What I am trying to get across here is that we make up myths(or science)to try and get ourselves to understand the world better. You cannot simply reject something because Physical science cannot prove it. That science itself is flawed. However, we can attack Human interpretations of metaphysical existance(religion). If you had called this 'Dispelling the Religious myth of the Devil' I would have most likely agreed with you.

I think that Atheism is a religion because of its similar attitude to ideas. People who do not belive in God have a blocked attitude to anything that smells god like.
