Every reading is different and can vary by about 10m, wikipedia says 8848, extremescience. com says 8850, the numbers are different everywhere you look.

There is no proof here they reached the top. Where are all the momentos left behind on the top by other climbers? Why do they move as quickly here as most do at Camp 3? Why were no foreigners allowed withn 1000 meters of the summit for these three days? This is all a fake because the Chinese could not lose face in front of the world.

well there is oxygen, just little of it. Also, they could be using a special type of fuel to help the flame. Rockets use fuel that contains oxygen so it can burn in space.

1:40 and 1:46 ... the climber the camera is showing is obscured by the fog.
However, at 1.47 , there is an unexpected "glitch" and the screen goes black.
When the image returns at 1:48, the climber is perfectly visible, and there is no sign of the fog.
I find it hard to believe that all that fog cleared in a matter of 2 seconds. Futhermore, most people who have reached the summit suggest that it is very difficult to speak far cry from the voices we hear in the video. (bar presenters)
