I would say it was in Llangollen, but wherever it was it is so fantastic, I personally like it more than the original recording, Jose Carreras sings so beautiful...

ya la escuche pero no pasa nada con la tia , ella es de genero popular mientras que carrera es lirico y ademas mercedes sosa su reghistro musical no le permite muchas agudas que digamos , pero puede hacer notas medias mas no agudas.

Thank you for posting this!! I'm really surprised by how good he still sounds! I didn't know he could sing this high anymore.
I love the Misa Criolla recording from 1987. Hard to believe he recorded it the month he was diagnosed with leukemia.

Carreras as always so passionate. I do agree with novice1959 that he sounds better in this live performance than he did in the 1987 studio recording. Thank-you for posting.
