Ah, that's a start. much better than other ideas I have heard about sex/love and making children ... I think to reduce the lyrics to 'Ich will ficken' is very misleading :) I don't believ in god myself and maybe that's the reason I don't see it here. But aimlessness in general, maybe yes. I would prefer pointlessness. Some images seem to refer to their work on stage. My best guess at the moment: We try to give you a message, but you always reduce it to 'ficken'

On the more serious side of things - I think the song is kind of about having a dull and aimless kind of boring life, and the use of "I want to fuck" is more a metaphor for "I want something interesting, something exciting, to happen".

Well, just gotta take it anyway we like, to be honest. Till's always said he won't give away the meaning of his songs because he wants them to be interpreted by whoever listens to them. There is probably a deeper meaning behind it that we can guess at, but only Till knows what that really is.

Honestly People? We have no idea exactly what the band was trying to say, so giving people thumbs up or down for their own opinions is childish. Just enjoy the music if someone says one thing and you do not agree then just reply saying something like "I do not think that is what they meant." You do not have to go around trying to put other peoples opinions down because they differ from your own.

As another native speaker I feel a bit sorry for you, because you missed so much ... :) Even if most lyrics seem to make little sense literally, this does not mean they do not have any sense at all. I must admit that some songs, especially from the first two albums, are difficult (maybe even impssible) to interpret satisfactorily. Including this one. Some others like Dalai Lama, Reise Reise or Hilf mir gave me something to rack my brains, but thats part of the fun, isn't it? :)
