I'm troubled that the DSM is treated as an authoritative source of truth. It's a political document, not a scientific one; homosexuality wasn't removed because of a new experimental finding, but because gays campaigned to have it removed. Everything in there should be treated as just as suspect as the original inclusion or removal of homosexuality.
