This event takes place on approx. 2nd to 4th day of Ganesh Festival in Pune. Last two years, it was held on New English School, Tilak Road Ground. We have yet not finalised on the venue for this year. Last year, it was a three city competition. Mumbai, Nasik and of course Pune. They styles and taals are absolutely different in every town.

This year, three teams viz. Garware, Swaroop Vardhini and Samartha pratishthan set up separate teams for the competition and practised in secrecy. Can you imagine Dhol Tashe on the beats of Rock music? All three did it this year. Sadly Zee had to edit it out.

That's too bad , How do I get the entire DVD or VCD for this event? Do you guys any time plan to have this event in Toronto ? This would blow out the minds of all here, if arranged,organized and promoted properly.

Amcha performace sarvoccha hota asa amhich nahi tar sarva manyawar ani jankar lok mhanatat mhanunach tar we were winners for 2007.
Ramanbag suddha khupach chan vajavta yaat vaad nahi.... tumcha neta (Pushkar) 1No man ahe.... tumhi ya varshi seperate group karun bhag ghya ani pahila bakshish milva ki. Manai konachi ahe? Competetion sathi tumhala mazya shubheccha.
