If all of you are going to express outrage about Megan Williams, then it would only be fair if you expressed an equal amount of outrage about the Christian and Newsom murders. Why is it considered OK for people to bring attention to the Williams rape, but considered "racist" to bring attention to Christian and Newsom?

It's not racist to focus on the rape of a woman! Any woman that has been raped, or any MAN that has been raped, deserves to have justice. Stop thinking in terms of racial divides, and think about the victims themselves. People need to focus on eliminating this kind of behavior altogether, not getting into semantics about race.

I agree. However, everyone is making what happened to Megan Williams all about race, so why can't people do the same thing for Christian and Newsom. Those people are not getting the justice they deserve because it has been deemed "racist" to publicize Black on White crime. There is still no proof about whether the Christian-Newsom murders were racially motivated, but if the races were reversed, it would be a hate crime, no questions asked, regardless of the circumstances.

I found the story in the general discussion part of a firearms forum. And yeah finding more real news on an internet forums then on TV is sad.
If you are looking for real news on TV I found NBC evening news is about as good as it gets. For the most part they stay out-of the celebrity gossip stuff.

Way to go man! I have turned off the TV after the media orgy over Anna Nicole Smith. Every time I turned to a news channel I was bombarded with celebrity gossip that I don't give a shit about. Since then I've been using the internet and a wide varitety of online newspapers because they seem much more concerned about the REAL important issues: Iraq, foreign affairs, environment, and the issues behind politics.
