If you are going to assert the age factor, look at Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin, still roars even in the present days.
Now she is clean and not being abused by anybody anymore.
Hopefully she can recover her voice back to her full potential again.

Right let's get real. It was nothing like what it used to be. Now that will never come back, (hopefully it might get better with more training but it isn't 1992 anymore and SHE CHOSE to take drugs and smoke cigarettes and this is the repercussions it has). But even so, she has still got a better voice than the artists that are out these days!!

Just remember guys, she has soul and "rhythm". So whilst time has taken her technique and breathing from her, time can bring it back.
She's got it in her. You can hear it, you can feel it. We just need to give her the time that she needs to get to where she needs to be.

It was her voice, her tone, her soulful, strong and vibrant nature ... it was the fact that when she sang ... it was more than tone or voice or technique. She gave you all of her ... like she is doing in this vid. She's giving all she is at that moment.

By the way, music isn't just about a melody or rhythm etc. So whilst so many of you are judging her vocals and her performance etc, you're simply missing the bigger picture. Even most celebrities are cheering her on for the right reasons.
There are people who'll love you for what you have, and then there are those who'll love you for what and who you are.
Those that seek the voice she once had only loves her for that.

I love Whitney I do but I must be honest, this was a subpar performance. Technically she hasn't lost much but her tone has deteriorated sooo much. I think she will do well, I juts have to remind myself this is her now and take what I can get.

You are absolutely correct! She needs the support of every one of her fans, but most of all God. She's been through alot and has a little catching up to do, but she is who she is, which is Whitney, so we all know that she's able to make a huge come back. As far as I'm concerned her music is classic so she never left.
