This is my first video. Let me know what you all think! During her time at Hogwarts, Hermione Granger finds herself captivated by her enigmatic potions master, Severus Snape. Because of his interest in the dark arts, she is never quite sure whether he can be trusted. Still, something about him d
raws her in. As time goes on, Hermione begins to see a different side of Professor Snape; he is a surly but incidentally sweet guardian angel. Before too long, she develops a strong affection for the mysterious, neurotic man who always seems to be one step ahead of her and her friends. Severus beg
ins to notice things too. Why does Hermione smile at him whilst he scowls? Why does she work so hard in his class? Why does she bother? Despite himself, he starts to respect Hermione in a way he did not before. Snape is secretly jealous of Harry Potter's close friendship with his favourite student
and goes out of his way to give him a hard time. Still, he tries to be understanding because Harry is Lily's son and he promised to protect him, after all. But when Hermione breaks down in Potions class after nearly a year of keeping her feelings from her professor, Snape automatically assumes Har
ry is to blame and decides to strike some fear into him. Hermione quickly tells him afterwards that Harry is not the cause. To everyone's surprise, Snape appears to be vaguely worried about Hermione's depressive behaviour. He even consults Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall about her emotional
outburst to see if they might have any advice. Albus finds it odd that Snape is so concerned and suspects that the potions professor might have feelings for his brightest student. He turns a blind eye. Who knows if the rumours are even true, after all?

The idea of Snape building a mystery is certainly a fitting one! Great work.
And 5 stars.
