Thats the Folkewolf TA 154 i believe which was a German wooden plane - inspired by the British "wooden wonder" called the Dehaviiland Mosquito

There will be, soon. In the meantime I'm off to the de Haviland Museum in October 08 to meet some Mosquito veteran crews.

The plans for the Mosquito exist, there are surviving moulds for at least some of the moulded parts, and there are (very occasional) Mosquitos in "museum condition" sold - usually for a fair chunk of change. In principle, restoration to flying condition is possible. There are also Mosquito projects, but progress reports from those are far and few between. It seems that the Mosquito is a lot tougher than Spitfires and Hurricanes, both of which have been replicated.

A Mosquito with German markings is used in the first part of the movie Where Eagles Dare, I seem to remember. The Germans also tried to reproduce the Mosquito, but their clone did not see the skies before the end of the war as far as I know.

With reference to Where Eagles Dare. This is not true. In the plot it is mentioned that a mosquito, with British bullet holes, is crash lands. There is no mosquito to be seen in Where Eagles Dare.
The question of ... ( 1 month ago by lomax343)
The question of whether George Lucas borrowed from The Dam Busters (NOT Dambusters) or from 633 Squadron rather overlooks the possibility that 633 Squadron borrowed from the Dam Busters.
Oh, and isn't that bit at 4:21 from Mosquito Squadron, not 633?
Yep you're ... ( 1 month ago by spartacus1701)
Yep you're certainly right - there would have been no 633 without the dambusters. 633 came first I believe and Mosquito Squadron actually used alot of used and unused footage from it.

It's the Messerschmit ME-410 that you're speaking of. I "think" they called it the Mosquito too.
Although depicting the fighter-bomber version of the Mosquito, these Mossies are actually the Mk.IV Bomber only version. Notice the flat surface on the nose? It's the bomb aimers dome, it's flat to not distort the aimers field of site. One a/c was later owned by "Kermit Weeks" of the "Weeks Air
Museum" in Florida and now sits in the USAF Museum, where ever that is. I think he broke it.

Actualy, Lucas saw "The Mosquito Squadron" (with the flying sequences literally copied from Squadron 633) and inserted dialog from "Dambusters".

Oh definatly. Although vaguely remember hearing a story that the TIE noise was a mustang engine played backwards (which ironically would make it a merlin made under license). Just wish Mossies flew again...
