Little stoy "bout this tune.. Tim wrote "If I Were A Carpenter." Bobby Darin made an A.M. "hit" of it. Bobby Darin, a fellow musical "genious" decided to return the favor. "Simple Song" is actually written by Boby Darin. Hardin's only A.M. "mini-hit." I've sung many Hardin songs w/acoustic guitar all over Boston and Cambridge since high school. "TIM HARDIN I" is still my favorite. God Bless Hardin and Darin on this Memorial Day.

Tim Hardin & Bobby Darin......were both great singers and writers.....and shared songs back and forth......simply put....end of story!!

There were 25 million people in Iraq before the US invasion. Over a million killed, a few million left for Jordan, Syria, etc. Their country is in total shambles, most of its infrastructure destroyed... a horrible basket case. Over 4000 brave US men and women killed and tens of thousands brutally injured and thousands more psychologically damaged forever. Freedom! What a joke. Not bad. Kevin Spacey's version, IMHO, is the best because of his use of back up singers. One tip for anti war libs though..if you're going to be against war, don't pick & choose the war. When we went into Iraq the percentage of the US was in favor of it - and I hate to disappoint, but republicans dont make up that large of a percetage - most of Bushs choices were based on popularity or administration choices - the popular vote way of ruling a nation is what democrats wanted - SO - get over yourselves.
