If any of the current major vehicle manufacturers want to stay in business, they better look to compete with Aptera. I have been waiting for a car like this for a long time and have sick of everything that current car manufacturers make. I WANT ONE! Make a 4WD/SUV model and I will never stray!

IBM was a giant in the computer world. Due to their behemoth size they were unable to see the writing on the wall. Small companies are much better equipped to be in tune with the people. The big fellows will fall to the small energetic flexible companies. Too bad GM killed the electric car. They had a significant head start.

I have only made one trip this year where I would not have the range of the Aptera. Being I make biodiesel I would like to see an aptera with a BD engine. I read on their site that they cant include a diesel because of NOX. Too bad they must not be into BD, else they would see BD is better for the environment than gas. Keep up the great work. I love how at 3/4 view it looks like its floating in the rear. Just wish it had a trunk worth noting.

Yes, how true; GM did have a good head start, but they screwed themselves and we Americans when they not only got rid of their electric car, but destroyed tehm as well. They were idiots, thinking only of the bottom line, regardless of the headway that they made with the E-1 (is that what it was called. Yes, I saw the dvd on it and was very disappointed in GM).
