Fascinating. To think how much effort went into rendering a thing like that. Nowadays it can be done for a quarter of the budget and half the time using all computers. Amazing.

They were taped movies off HBO and other stations from the 80's that we still had in the house. This particular one was on a long tape that we just left running picking up The Toy, an episode of Fraggle Rock, and a Kenny Loggins concert. Ah the 80's.

what they did was so, so amazing. i remember watching this as a kid, mesmerized. it was art meets commerce like i had never seen. it could never look like this with cgi. they gave this neighborhood such a real, magical feel. kudos guys!

Cool presentation, it definitely stimulates the imagination of what can be done. Although, the logo was a bit to long. 7-10 seconds is acceptable.
