I think we can give Hillary the benefit of the doubt. I find it hard to believe she's thinking "If only someone would assassinate him that would be great, then I'd win for sure." Olbermann spent 4 mins explaining his "...cold blooded killers" comment. He wanted us to know that he could have never meant the troops, so why can't Hillary get that same courtesy? Of all people he should know how it feels when the meaning of your message gets lost in the words you choose.

he was talking in terms of whether or not his family was offended, which frankly most of us were not concerned about. The reason for most of the outrage was that her comments could be taken as meaning she's waiting for Barack to die. The Obama family were the people who deserved the apology for the misunderstanding.

I'm no McCain supporter, but if the Democrats railroad the political process just to make this empty suit of a candidate the next George McGovern, I'm leaving the party. I'm tired of backing losers.

I'm definitely going to vote in this election as I know the stakes are way too high for me to sit it out. But why, why, WHY, as a Democrat, do I always have to settle for the media's flavor of the month? Are McGovern, Kerry, Dukakis, and Obama REALLY the best we can do?! If the Dems push Obama
through, I'll probably end up voting for him in November, but it's gonna be with me as an Indpendent. Enough is enough.
