No because REpublicans tend to breed biggots, and represent the rich, while poor kids die to make sure rich people get richer. That's why an anti war Republican is such a surprise
the sad reality is ... ( 7 months ago by vote4ronpaul12)
the sad reality is that such distinction is what they want you to believe it is on the outside. On the inside both parties are very much corrupt and entangled in private interests that represent neither the rich nor the poor. they represent the wealthy elite. open up your eyes and read up on free markets, central banking, american traditions and the constitution.
I do read on them. ... ( 7 months ago by asullivan00)
I do read on them. The problem is you have to pick your poison, and I can handle democrats better than republicans and that Christian crap they hand out. Life is fully of bad choices. But Bush and Company wasn't my choice and neither will be new Reagan with mcCain.
my biggest problem ... ( 7 months ago by vote4ronpaul12)
my biggest problem with democrats is ideological so i could never join their lines - I'd rather be independent than democrat. and this is the idea that they will force me to give my money away to the "not so lucky people" through taxation or even worse - for government misuse. I've seen too many useless and abused government programs that would make me support any of these damn programs. I actually like government deficit - it always gives new sense to job security for government workers.

Unfortunately, we do not have a system of politics that allows independents a voice in government. It is winner take all, so you have to choose one or the other.

yeah but see - you assume that I need to pick the lesser of two evils. Even so, again, I'd still pick republican on any day. At least their ideology is not of robbing the well-to-do to give to the lazy bastards who don't want to lift a finger and don't think in the future. There're sick bastard politicians on either side of the aisle but at least the Republican ideology is not sick.
Instead we give ... ( 7 months ago by asullivan00)
Instead we give thousand times to evil contractors and other no show job types than ever paid on welfare. The fact is the rich steal more from us than the poor will ever in a hudred life times, but Americans blame the people least able to defend themselves, and then vote republican
So big government ... ( 7 months ago by vote4ronpaul12)
So big government is the problem, it is the source of all evil. It is the source of corporate greed, special interests, corruption in government, etc. If - as you're saying - 1000's more in taxes are going for special interests than there're for the weak and defenseless, why not cut taxes by x1000 and take care of the weak and disabled? Therefore, it's not that taxes are low (as Democrats like to say) - it's the poor reallocation of taxes. Do you see where the "more taxes" idea is flawed now?
