The way he walks must be a tribute for Mario Bros. game for ol' NES.
And the floor... do you remember the floors in Street Fighter II? Another tribute. Also: since Castlevania is actually Dracua's castle name, so, these are not repeated enemies, it's just that you always have to cross the mermen's pond and stuff.

No, its a matter of opinon when it comes to 3d and 2d graphics and which looks better. Comparing one 3d game to another 3d game usually doesnt have anything to do with personal prefrence, but 2d games are made completely diffrently than 3d games.

Yea, guys this is just a remake of castlevania one, for the nes. It was, in some ways, a shitty game, and in some ways it wasn't. it depends on what kind of gamer you are, so shut the hell up.

you are clearly an idiot who has no idea what he's talking about. This isn't a remake of the NES game and it's by far the best of the old school non-rpg Castlevania games, but you're probably too busy playing that shitty future white-haired kid series to know anything about that. And before you tell me that the SNES was is the best, I should probably let you know that that's actually a remake of the original NES one. I'd hate for you to make an idiot of yourself.

I hate it when they leave the battle systems and stage movement as old side scrolling and all.I mean come on,3D cutscenes, and 2D battles..?It's insulting,and I found it pretty damn confusing.I'm way too used to the normal 3D battles to get used to crappy side scrolling.I've never played the old battle systems I'm afraid, and I agree with josh the fallen!
