They are so cute. Too bad they're endangered because they're stupid. This bird can't fly, lays ONE egg per year, makes it's nest on the ground and sucks and finding food. But they're adorable!!!!! I think they should make some sort of huge sanctuary for them.

They do. Last time I checked there is a whole island for them that is rid of pests. Their population is slowly increasing which is good news. :D

Gee...how about a sanctuary for Ugly animals too. No wonder some theorize that the surviving wild animals are being unnaturally selected out by their attractiveness to humans. Watch us all die because we got rid of something stupid, ugly or currently ubiquitous...the turkey vulture or a particularly disgusting spider or something!
