Wow, Sorry, I just published the comment before I was done it. haha, anyway the first time I saw this version I noticed that they looked alike. Plus, the girl who plays Juliet: Olivia Hussey is the mother to the girl who plays the sister in the Secret life of the American Teenager. I thought that was pretty cool (: lol.

´s best play is Hamlet, no doubt about it but this is the one people love the most. Leonard and Olivia made us love it even more, becuase they´re "too rich for use, for earth too dear"!

oh finally someone agrees with me about the version with Leo Dicaprio. That movie didn't really make sense to me, because they used guns, they drove cars, it took place today and they were talking like they did in this version of Romeo and Juliet.I really like this version a lot better

Amazing movie. Always makes me swoon and cry. Sucky trailer though. xD I'm glad they've gotten better at those over the years. If only the movies themselves had followed suit. xD

No matter how hard they try (and I think Bahr Luzman
´s R&J is not bad) it
´s impossible to top this version. This one captures the very essence of the play, and Len and Olivia ARE Romeo and Juliet. 40 years from now it will still gonna be powerful.
