the dems would be "painted as withholding supplies to the troops" if they voted against the bill... so are you saying that is WHY they had NO choice? i think they still have a choice to vote the majority voice of their constituents and know that however they are being 'painted' has no bearing on their vote, if it does, they should not represent us.

so do we not have our troops stocked up with whatever they need, (ammo, food, parts etc) that if we don't pass HUNDREDS of billions of dollars, they will not be able to shoot their weapons and eat. will their lives REALLY change for the worse? is there not enough money in the pipeline? or does most of the money go into the military industrial complex's pocket?

well yes the troops need food like all of us. and they need to have ammo to defend themselves. this war cost a billion dollars a week. what pipeline? i really dont think the money is going into peoples pockets. although there are people who are making money of the iraq war i dont think there are actually people lining up there pockets with the money funding the war.

My point was that he's trying to condemn and demonize Giuliani for doing something EVERY candidate does in wartime. Democrats argue they can keep their public safer in a wartime election too...so? My point was Olbermann had no basis here; this is not "the language of Bin Laden" nor is it a under
