this was at lowestoft seafront airshow suffolk.there was a major enjine failure and the pilot had to eject himself he landed on top of the crashed plane and suffered a broken leg the seaking rescue helicopter came and airlifted him to hospital thats the facts guys he was very lucky had it of happened on a land airshow the plane whould have exploded and the pilot whould be dead as he landed on the plane!!

The Harrier was ZD464 From 20Sqn R.A.F. Wittering. The accident happened at 15.01Hrs. The pilot initiated ejection 64ft ASL. The Reason the plane crashed was pilot error. The pilot, on hearing the engine noise change, correctly advanced the throttle, but moved the nozzle lever foreward at the same time. This made the A/C descend and the pilot attempted to 'nozzle out' and accelerate away from the hover. The pilot was not aware that the nozzle lever had been moved already and ejected.
