probably wanted to play his own bass.........i would, imo his doesnt suit the style as well, bit muddy (although we've always heard it played by chris on his bass...so that probably makes the opinion slightly bias!)

and btw he didn't mean it didn't sound the same. he ment muse performance on a hole wasn't the same when chris wasnt on bass. nothign to do with the sound

That is an awesome jacket Matt is wearing. This is probably the cleanest performance of Hysteria I've ever heard. And yeah Morgan played well, but they probably didn't want to highlight him much and confuse people into thinking he's the actual bassist of the band.

Maybe because Morgan is a bit uncertain guy, he doesn't know who to play with ;p He played with Senseless Things, the Streets, Gorillaz, now he helps Muse in their tour and don't forget about his solo career ;)
