in TWoO, glinda is an overly-happy princess-y woman who turns everything into a lesson. in Wicked glinda is a kind, understanding blonde airhead who grows and matures as time goes on. her personality in the play is WAY better than this. i loved how they flipped the switch on all of the original characters. i can't wait till the wicked movie comes out in 2014. the dvd will be sitting right on my shelf, right next to it's mother, The Wizard of Oz.
