You are absolutely right. i'm from new york and i love outkast, luda,t.i. But all that jingle, snap, laffy taffy stuff can kick rocks. And as far as outkast being booed at the south awards, it was during the height of the east-west coast thing and they came on stage repping the south. at the time everyone was a little too sensitive about their region, more so than now. Trust me everyone here felt outkast and still does. This clown collipark, not so much.

i don't know how old you are...but i'm a 1972 southern belle..and this that's being discussed is not, i repeat, is not music for all southerners...unlike old school southern music, this will not be played or remembered in the next 20 years. Want an example? Frankie Beverly and Maze...they don't ever have to make another album, you know why? they put out quality real music. Like Katt said this *hit right here is just that...

I still listen to the so-called new hip hop and with my old ears I easily hear the sampling. the one thing about history when it comes to music, in order for a musician to be successful, you have to know your history.
