Well, I'm sure millions of opera fans would disagree with you. Andrew's song was very good, I'm not comparing the 2, fair play to Andrew, but to bemoan the girl is wrong, plus one other thing, Paul Potts won the show the previous year, singing OPERA, so guess the millions who voted for him would also disagree with you ;)

When Potts won last year he was a unique act as far as talent shows go and how many British male operasingers could most people name. This year an adult opera singer win was not unique and there are also several popular British female opera singers eg Kathrine Jenkins. A kid singing opera is still unique, and the gullible public would buy the CDs. Therefore Faryl went through and better adult singers were eliminted before the voting stages so they wouldn't overshadow her with their better voices
