You really are stupid, do you even know what camp is? The 60's show was camp, Batman and robin was camp. The Dark Knight is not camp. If you can't buy into Batman and it doesn't work for you it's either: Stupid, Corny etc.
Well looking at it's success critically and financially i guess Batman REALLY is campy. *rolls eyes* And yes it will stand the test of time like 89 did. It's fuckin Batman! lmao

I never said TDK was camp. I said Batman himself was. Take him out of the movie and just have Joker versus the authorities and you'd have just as good, if not better, a movie.

I actually like TDK enough to do a review. If you disagree re: Joker being the main reason for its success, fair enough. I stand by it as many ppl I know (not all) have offered same view, but I agree to disagree on that point.
You probably know from my vids that I don't generally like to diss films, but to instead praise the ones I do like. My purpose with the TDK comments here is purely to annoy BiGuy, sorry if it offends anyone else.

Not to assert myself, but I can't resist mentioning TDK is a very crappy movie lol. The cinematography and editing is atrocious (in fact some segments with dialouge practically looked like single takes--not to mention the fight sequences were chopped up in true pedestrian form), also too many momentary characters with bad acting and dispensable one-liners...sometimes pictures like that from a confluence of enthusiasm get praised to the sky but that doesn't change the fact they're half-baked.

To the guy going on and on about the Dark Knight... watch this clip... watch?v=CfFVSO7cxyk It's a combination of Freudian psychoanalysis coupled with Jungian's archetypes/avatars and some good old MKULTRA/Project Monarch mind control. Notice when Harvey looks at his coin every time his 'alter' persona is in danger of kicking in. When he's in the hospital and half his face is burned and he takes his coin and it reminds him of Rachel (who just died), that coin is supposed to represent Janus.

Janus was the Roman 'two-faced' god of doorways, of opening and closing doors, and the god between good and bad. When Rachel dies, his mind control programming is finally complete, and he's no longer able to maintain his 'good' persona, and the alter takes over. I really thought TDK was disturbing and depressing, unlike Begins, which had a storyline with some redeeming moral values. Dark Knight is basically Leo Strauss + MKULTRA + anarchy + counter terrorism run amok, and with Batman thrown in

I'm from Liverpool in the NorthWest of England. The accent here is a weird hybrid, bit of irish thrown in. I also tone down the accent in the vids which confuses ppl more.
