There was an interview done with the S.E. directors questioning them if they're planning on a FFVII remake, they replied something akin to "So far we don't have any plans for it", then they followed with something like "It's not totally out of the question because it took us only 3 days to decide to make Crisis Core." Imagine the boost to PS3 sales if the did remake it and made it PS3 exclusive. You think any company would have a grudge with making money and a shit load of it I might add?

Final Fantasy is a series of games, all set in different worlds and with unique complex story lines. FF7 featured Cloud, and he's in the FF7 spin-off games (like this one, Crisis Core). Cloud is also in Advent Children, the sequel movie to the game. The rest of the games (there are twelve now, with two more in the future and various spin-offs) have different heroes.

My only problem was that the quality of Cloud's scream wasn't loud, but i love this ending, its so sad and nice. The subtitles actually fit too. And i love the to be continued thing

nah all different, just final fantasy 7 was very popular and cloud became the greatest final fantasy character. so they choose ff7 to make other games off of b/c of the success
