Nice reply Johnny! You are right on target. At least Clinton was aware of the growing Islamic threat and tried to avert the happenings of a 9/11. Bush and Cheney looked forward to a challenge to America's superiority and welcomed the chance to throw this country into turmoil.

Giuliani just uses emotion-filled vague battle speak, beating his chest and making the crowd go 'rrraaaaaaaaaa!'. BUT Olbermann seems to miss that when an anti-war senator (whoever it may be) has a problem with American foreign policy, they are just as much saying "Vote Republican and Die!" (from the continued terrorist attacks provoked by our foreign policy, for example). I see the 'Vote Opposition and Die' on both sides and from Ron Paulians and conspiracists. Get over it?

Did you just try to claim that Ron Paulians and conspiracists (as though they're related in some way) are selling the "Vote Opposition and Die" attitude? To the contrary. Paul and "Paulians" are selling the "save the country from the lunatic fringe who have taken over both major parties... BTW, any assertions that Ron Paul is allied with "9/11 Truthers" is a baseless attack from the scared neoconservatives who highjacked the GOP.

Olberman is just a Democratic hack. Sure, much of what he says about the Republicans is true, but Democrats are just as bad. Personally I'm a big fan of Ron Paul and think he's the only man who can make a serious difference.

I agree. When life and death are on the line, of course politicians are going to say that voting for them is going to cost fewer lives. That isn't just fear mongering, its also honestly expressing one's opinion on foreign policy - that certain courses of action cost more lives than others - which is true.

Keith is stating the facts correctly regarding Mr. Guilini. In fact, Keith was restrained in not mentioning that Mr. Guilini made a grave error in his decision to move his command center into WTC 7 even though the WTC had already been bombed in 93, and his advisors told him not too. If he did not have the foresight to recognize how irresponsible it would be to put his own people at risk in a WTC building, he is not the guy to protect us.

Dude, I dont like Giuliani one bit either...but Olbermann is just ranting from NO SOLID POINT OR BASIS AT ALL here. His primary objection is to Giuliani's pitch that he can keep everybody safer (BS).
Presidential hopefuls ALWAYS argue that they can keep you safer than their opponents during wartime. There is NOTHING evil or devious about this. The sooner people learn to detect the bullshit on BOTH sides the better off we'll be.
