he can brag.. ... ( 11 months ago by qkstellar)
he can brag.. doesn't mean i would care tho. most people have done something worth mentioning about.. to their friends and people that care about them. doesn't mean strangers will give a damn. i mean people do things for their own good all the time. it's not like he went on the journey as a scientist and somehow his data helped researchers world wide. so brag away guy, no one is stopping ya, but you need a care factor check. oh ya he moves around way too much.. ADD?

Yea, most have done something worth mentioning.
But almost none of them have done something absolutely awe inspiring as going solo to the north pole or the south pole, or climbing all 14 8000m peaks. Try something like that before you act like it's not a big deal. It's different from winning a beauty pageant.

He was INVITED to talk about his journey. That's what the TED organizers wanted people to hear about, (and they're pretty good judges of what people care about.) If you don't care about listening about the interesting things people are doing in the world, then the rest of the TED talks will also be a waste of your time.
