looks like SONY just had more money to throw around buying off studios and retailers for its version of a hi definition content disk. whatever, so long as we can have something before all physical media is made utterly obsolete by the awesomeness of online digital delivery. Yes, digital distrobution will take over. That's why Sony are releasing full-length games on PSN. It's funny how Microsoft always talk about digital distobution but they haven't released any games on Live.

What? I'm talking about retail games. Xbox Live has NONE. You can buy Warhawk, Siren Blood Curse, Ratchet and Clank on PSN, and soon, Burnout Paradise. I'm not talking about Xbox Live ARCADE games. Also, Live probably has more arcade games than PSN but it only has a few good ones like Braid and Geometry wars.

No, but if they ask Sony nicely, there will be a Blu-Ray adapter available. Like everything else in the 360, you have to buy it (wireless antenna, Blu-Tooth adapter, that massive power box thing that's on the cord of the 360, etc.) All the stuff that you have to buy seperately for the 360 is built-in to the PS3, which is why it weighs as much as 2 pickup trucks.

I'm no fanboy, but I prefer quality over quantity and I definately think the 360 has more exclusives that are actually good. I own both consoles and this is just my opinion.

First, I want to say that I can tell you're no fanboy, because you don't go all ballistic on me talking shit about things totally unrelated to the 360 and the PS3. If everyone would handle the console wars the way you do, it would be much more pleasant.
The PS3 does in fact have more exclusives, 99 to be exact. Well, not EXACT, give or take like 2. The 360 has 84 titles, give or take 5. I'm downloading a PS3 exclusive as we think, Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty ;-)

Great idea on sonys part to look into the future and support blu-ray. It cost the company more but they know it will pay off in the end. Microsoft on the other hand is all about money and only goes with whats the cheapest on hand, so that they get the most money out of each console sold.

Actually HD-DVD owners are winning right now as prices for its movies are far less than the blu-ray (Check Fry's Electronics). Also its an amazing up-converter, so I don't know why this asswipe is burning his 360 hd drive.
