Video Description:
Planet of the Apes "re-imagined" as an episode of The Twilight Zone. Why?
Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone, also co-wrote the screenplay for Planet of the Apes. Which is why the movie plays like a two-hour episode of the show, complete with social commentary and shock ending. Thanks to digital video editing, I was able to re-edit the movie as an episode of the

The "Planet of the Apes" TV series in the 1970s wasn't a spoof. It was meant as a serious science fiction / action-adventure show. It just wasn't very good.

Good job, but I'm almost a hundred percent sure that it's the original 1968 film with a black and white filter and some decent editing. I don't now how they got Rod Serling's voice to go with that scene unless there was another TZ ep with a similar plot of 3 men in the middle of nowhere.
